Computer does not display or shows "No Signal Input" over a black screen

1/. The fix for this issue is very simple, first you will need to get to the back of the computer tower and look for a small switch near where the mains cable plugs into the back as per the image below:

Back of a typical computer

2/. If you can't find this switch or can't get around to the back of the PC then you can use the switch on the wall that the PC plugs in to. The next step is to flick this switch until it is off (on the back of the tower this means that the "o" side should be flat against the case). Leave this off for AT LEAST 30 SECONDS, this is so that the power supply within the PC will lose all of the power that it stores.

3/. After this time you can flick the switch on (to the "l" position) and power the PC on as normal from the button on the front. You should find that the PC now displays correctly. If not they you can contact CSU on extension 3283 for further support.
